What a great time in Traverse City, MI. If you haven't been there you need to get in your car and go, really. You won't regret it. Downtown TC had a cool boat show the weekend we visited. Wonderful vineyards to enjoy wine tasting and of course boating, sailing and canoeing. Try the Grand Traverse resort or Americinn a bit less expensive. Sleeping Bear dunes a must see, one of the pictures show a 450 yd. dune height, looking down the people at the waters edge look like ants. At one of the vineyards tasting bars as you look out the door  you can see the bay. Beautiful view. I got into some trouble at the Pirates Cove, Teresa insisted I get locked up.  That's not a Corona between my feet it's a Starbucks, at the time I thought it was funny.
